Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” – Hebrews 13:5

The true assurance that Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior never leaves nor forsakes (abandons) us. How amazing it is! This is such a clear and true promise from our God, my dear one, please do not overlook this text or underestimate the promise of our Lord. His “Yes” is his “Yes” and His “No” is his “No”, take His word and believe in Him.

Goodmorning Beloved, we thank God for another amazing Wednesday, today, the message from the Lord is to remind us that He will never leave us nor forsake us.

At times, we tend to find ourselves in helpless, difficult or challenging life situations. In such moments, it only seems we can only come out of such situations by our own means or efforts and there seem to be no hope of help in view. These difficult times tend to call for drastic measures, one can attest to the fact that when you are going through hard times, the voice of the flesh tends to be loudest, you will find an intense desire to indulge in all kind of ungodly things to just get out of such situations. Beloved, today,  as you read the word of God, do not harden your heart, hear this, Jesus Christ is with you at all times.

• God is with you to always provide for you: In the Bible verse for today, it highlights the fleshly desire to indulge in covetousness in times of financial need but God reminds us, He is always with us to be our provider.
• God is with you to deliver & protect you always: Psalms 37:28, For the LORD, loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. “They will be protected forever, but the offspring of the wicked will be cut off;” Our Lord is with us to save us from the works of the wicked one.
• God is with us to empower to overcome the challenges we face: The walk with Christ is very challenging in the world we live in. The enemy roars at us as a lion but know this, he cannot harm us, God has given us all that we need to overcome the enemy. The Lord assures us in His word – Deuteronomy 31:6, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; “He will never leave you nor forsake you.”
• God is with us to teach us the way of righteousness & holiness: Beloved, do not be afraid and worried about falling back into temptation, God promises to be with us always to keep us in holiness and righteousness so that we do not go back into the enemy’s captivity.

These are but a few of the things that we experience with God’s presence with us always. How blessed we are as children of God, our God is not separated from us, He is in us, on us and with us, He is such a sweet Father. Sister or Brother in Christ, look to Jesus today, ask Him to help you and our Good, Amazing, Loving God will always manifest Himself to you.
