For all who have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we can testify that it was through the spread of God’s message by God’s servants that we heard the Gospel. As God’s Word proves true, it was upon hearing the Word that our hearts received faith in God and we were saved by God’s amazing grace.

As you come across this prayer, I invite you to join me in praying, just as Apostle Paul asked the church in Thessalonica to pray, that the Lord’s message will spread and be honored wherever it goes.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word, which brings life to those who were dead in their trespasses. It is by the power of the Gospel that your people are brought from the bondage of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God. Today, we pray in the name of Jesus Christ that the message of Jesus Christ, which saves, heals, delivers, redeems, and restores God’s glory, will spread widely and rapidly across the earth. We pray that wherever the message of Christ Jesus is heard, it will manifest in the power of the Holy Spirit and bring many to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. May Jesus Christ be exalted wherever the Gospel of Christ is preached, and may God’s light confound every darkness and reveal to your people the God who created and saved them.

We also pray that the servants of God who carry the message of Christ will be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, and that they will not speak in their own ability or skill but through the power of the Holy Spirit, allowing the Word of God to take root in the hearts of all who hear the message. We pray that hearts will be stirred as the Gospel of Jesus Christ is taught and preached, and that eyes will be opened to behold the Glorious Lamb of God on the throne of Glory. The lies and deceptions that have kept people in bondage will be dismantled by the power of God. The hold of the enemy on the lives of God’s people will lose its power, and God’s people will be set free to worship and seek God in holiness and righteousness.

Thank you God for the power in the Gospel of Jesus Christ that has brought salvation to many. We pray that it continues to do so in Jesus Christ’s mighty name, Amen!
