As humans, we are driven to achieve and often set goals to find joy and fulfillment in reaching them. In the same way, as believers, we set goals for ourselves in seeking God, with consistency and persistence being a common aim. However, we can often feel guilty or ashamed when we fall short of these goals, causing some to give up seeking God altogether.

But the truth. is, our relationship with God should never be about achieving certain markers or consistency or persistence. Rather it should come from a heart that longs for intimacy with our loving Heavenly Father.

I pray that God will pour His love into our hearts, drawing us to seek Him out of a genuine desire for Him rather than just trying to meet a spiritual checklist or goal. Remember, we are dearly loved by our Heavenly Father, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ gave His life on the cross that through Him we may be saved.

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Jeremiah 29:13

Stay blessed and always seek God for who He is and out of a heart that longs for Him.
