The drastic spread of the Corona Virus (COVID-19) has turned our world. The impact of COVID-19 is unimaginable, the whole world is in a crisis, as believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, what do we do in a time like this?

Cast it All on Jesus Christ

In our worries, fears, doubts, uncertainties, pains, disappointments, and more, there is Someone who has His hands stretched wide open to embrace us, the Lord Jesus Christ is near and ever ready carry our burdens and be with us. Beloved in Christ, let us reach out to God in prayer. Speak to God about everything, ask Him for His help, trust Him that in all things He is still faithful. Precious one in Christ, God is the anchor of our lives, and in times when the storms of life blow as it is happening now, we trust in God that our boats will not be moved or shaken.

Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you;
He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. –

Psalm 55:22 NKJV

Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

1 Peter 5:7 NKJV

Whenever I am afraid,
I will trust in You.

Intercede for the World

God manifests His power and grace when we pray. Prayer is one of the weapons God has given the saints for spiritual warfare, our prayers are mighty in God and can pull down strongholds like this crisis we are facing. Soldiers of the cross let us travail in prayer for our nations, let’s seek God to heal our lands and cause this pandemic to cease. God’s word proves that in times when God’s people faced a crisis, it was the Lord that came to their rescue. God has rescued his people before, and so He can do it again. Our God is our ever faithful helper, He never leaves nor forsakes us, God is always with us in all that we go through in life. Beloved in Christ, God has given us a great privilege through prayer that we ought to use, we have been given the keys to heaven, our Fathers has granted unto us the power to knock, seek, and ask in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and He will answer us.

2nd Chronicles 20:17

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. ⁴ For the weapons of our warfare are not ^[a]carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, ⁵ casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, ⁶ and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

2nd Corinthians 10:3-6

¹⁸ “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.¹⁹ “Again^[a] I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

Matthew 18:18-19

Dear ones, let’s not grow weary in praying, our Lord Jesus Christ is our refuge, fortress, anchor, our soon coming King, healer, deliverer, helper, Lion of the tribe of Judah, the lamb of God, our all in all, with Christ we will overcome. We pray for all people across the face of the earth that God will keep us, that souls will be saved for the Kingdom of God, that God will grant us wisdom, knowledge and understanding to overcome this virus. May God grant divine grace and power to all who are working hard to bring an end to this.

After all of this is done and pass, if you stand in God and do not give up, your faith will be strengthened and God will be glorified. Amen.
