Prayer for a Revelation of God

Today, we join together to pray in agreement with Apostle Paul that we may receive the wisdom, revelation and full understanding of Jesus Christ. By this, our faith will be firmly rooted in Christ to abide in Him at all times as our Lord and Savior. This is an important prayer that can minister to so many needs in our lives such as:

  • Moments, when life seems very challenging, you cannot seem to understand who God is and what God is up to.
  • When your heart weeps for those who are lost, broken-hearted, backsliding, deceived, losing hope, faith and their joy in the Lord

We pray for God’s revelation to open the eyes of heart that we may abide in God’s Word and will.

Let us pray (Adapting the Prayer of Paul -Ephesians 1:17-22):

Dear Gracious and merciful Father,

We thank you for your love and mercies that You pour on us daily. We humbly ask that you grant unto us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. We pray that our hearts will be flooded with light so that we may know and understand the hope of Your calling and riches of the glory of Your inheritance in Your holy people. We also pray that we will be able to understand the incredible greatness of Your power for us in Jesus Christ. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.  Now our Lord Jesus is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come. We rejoice that all things are under the authority of Christ who is head over all things for the benefit of Your people. We praise You O God that You have heard our humble prayer in Jesus name. Amen!

Believe in faith that God is with you and has heard your prayer. Beloved always know that Jesus Christ loves you for He died for you.

Stayed blessed 🙂
