A Miracle Season: Awaken Faith in God

Many have experienced the worst hardships of their lives in the year 2020. Many have fought hard and tough battles in this year more than they have in their lifetime. As believers, most of us can agree that our faith in God has been immensely challenged during these difficult times. Unfortunately, some gave up faith and hope in God because of the overburdened difficulties. Thank God we always have God’s word readily available to build our faith in God and draw us to God.

The Christmas season offers believers a divine opportunity to rekindle our faith and hope in God. The story of the birth of our Lord Jesus is a powerful revelation that demonstrates the power, grace, and love of our miracle-working God.

Let’s soak in this Scripture:

10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 1

Luke 2:10 NKJV

The Christmas story is one that many of us are familiar with, in a nutshell it is the story of how God became flesh dwelled among us.

In Luke 2:10, the shepherds while watching their sheep in the fields received the unexpected announcement about the birth of the Savior from the angels. Finally the long-awaited prophecy has been fulfilled, the Savior of the world has been born, the eternal hope for humanity is here. What a great miracle! Praise God! What a joy it brought to the hearts of the people that day!

Beloved just like the unimaginable and impossible in the human understanding was made possible; the Holy Spirit came upon Mary, she conceived and gave birth to Christ the Lord. May this season bring you the fulfillment of what God has spoken concerning your life, may this time rekindle your faith in the GREAT I AM.

Dear one, in this Christmas season, let’s reflect on how God has kept us through it all, God is still with us and fighting for us and as we continue to press on we will surely prevail.

Stay blessed and always remember that Jesus Christ loves you dearly.

Merry Christmas!
