Dear one,
On that fateful Friday, our Lord Jesus Christ selflessly laid His life down to become the sacrificial lamb of God, to save all of humanity. The word of God, as revealed by the Prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 53, was fulfilled on this day.
Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary for the sins of the world. On the cross, Christ bore our sins, shame, and guilt. He took on everything in our lives that held us captive by the enemy. He paid the ultimate price, and because of Christ, we are no longer in bondage or held captive by the enemy. Christ set us free on Calvary. He offered His holy life in exchange for our sinful life, and Christ took our place on the cross.
”But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
We have all sinned, and we deserve to die, but our God who loves us with eternal love would not allow us to perish into eternal damnation. He offered Himself in our place so that our judgment of sin was placed on Him.
If you have encountered this post and have not given your life to Jesus Christ, I want you to know that I understand how difficult it can be to take the first step. But, dear one, Christ died for you so that you will no longer be a slave to the enemy, sin, and fears of this life. He paid the ultimate price with His precious Blood, so you will not have to. Your soul has been redeemed by the Blood of Christ, and you have been reconciled with the Heavenly Father.
By believing with your heart and confessing with your mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, you accept what He did on Calvary, and this breaks the hold of captivity over your life. You are now free to live a holy and pure life for God, and you take on your rightful place as a child of the Most High God. You are given the Holy Spirit of God to be your great Helper to help you in your new life in Christ.
Would you pray with me?
Dear Lord Jesus, Thank you for giving your life on the cross of Calvary to save me from my sin, shame, and guilt. Because of what you did for me, I am now set free from the bondage of sin, fear, and shame. Please forgive me of all my sins and become Lord and Savior of my life. I surrender my life to you, renew me, revive me, and restore me to be the child of God, you created me to be. May my life from here be set to live in your holiness and righteousness. Help me always to yield to your Holy Spirit and your Word, so that I will always live by your perfect will for my life. Help me to share this glorious Hope of salvation with others who do not know You. May they hear and see and also believe and be saved by You.
In Jesus’ name. Amen!
Beloved, Heaven and all the saints in the Lord are rejoicing over you. It is a great joy to see our sibling in the Lord come to Christ. Please know this: God is with you and will keep you all the days of your life. I pray that you will find a faithful body of believers in Christ who are believe in the Holy Bible as God’s Word that will help you to grow in your new life with Christ. Be blessed and always remember you are dearly loved by God.
”If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.“
Romans 10:9-10 NLT
