God richly bless you and I am truly grateful to Lynn, the amazing blogger of throughinkandimage for nominating me for the Sunshine Blogger Award. It is truly an honor to be nominated by Lynn as I have found her blog posts extremely edifying. Lynn’s writing style just draws the reader into her experience and brings the Word of God to life for the reader. Once again God bless you and continue to give you more inspiration to share His blessed grace and love with all people.
As I accept this award, I am most grateful God for His word and the truth that God unveils to us when I soak in His word. Also to my best friend/boyfriend who encouraged me to start this blog and all loved ones who read the posts and share their comments with me.
By accepting this award, I have agreed to answer a few questions about myself. I hope you are all will enjoy getting to know a little bit more about me. 🙂
Here we go….
Interviewer: Where do you get inspiration from for your blog posts?
Me: It starts with what is being impressed on my heart after studying verses from the Bible or observing things that are happening around us. Scriptures verses always birth a message which must be shared so I write them on here.
Interviewer: Morning or night person?
Me: It depends on the activity. If there is work to be done, I love to get them done as soon as possible so my mornings are always great to get work done and be focused on finishing off tasks. The night is great for resting and spending time doing less intense activities. Usually, nights are best spent on reading, spending time with family and friends.
Interviewer: Favorite bible verse
Me: This is really hard to choose but I will try, it changes with the season. As of now, I think 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 – 14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
This verse is a constant reminder of God’s love for us and how we ought to love God by living for Him alone.
Interviewer: When did you give your life to God?
Me: I will say I gave my life to God since I was a child, I will say as early as 10 or 11 years. But it was 2013, that I made that ultimate decision to stay consistent with my life with God. Although I had given my life to God very early on, I was not stable and finally, have in 2013, I fully yielded to the Spirit of God to lead me. Ever since this day, November 20, 2013, my lhasnever been the same, the passion of God just keeps on welling up inside of me. I am absolutely in love with Jesus Christ and all I say is I live for Him and Him alone.
Interviewer: Do you prefer a large family or a small one?
Me: Both, I prefer both, I have 8 siblings, lots of aunties and uncles, nieces and nephews. I love them so much. Small families are great and intimate.
Interviewer: Favorite book and why?
Me: I am not sure on that one yet. But if there is any book I read and study more often than anything else, it is my Bible. I love my Bible, the truth and inspiration to live for God can really be found in this book. I enjoy reading biographies, so God’s Generals have been a good read for me. Compelled by love by Heidi Baker and A Voice in the Night by Suprise Sithole.
Interviewer: Who is your mentor?
Me: My boyfriend is a true Spirit-filled, humble, God-fearing young man I will say he is my mentor. God has used him tremendously in my faith journey and life and I am truly blessed to have met him.
Interviewer: If you were to eat one thing all your life, what would it be?
Me: The word of God. Matthew 4:4 (Man shall not live by bread alone…) and salad 🙂
Interviewer: What is that thing you can’t do without?
Me: I cannot do without prayer. I always have to commune with God, it is how I am able to keep on going. God is faithful, loving and so good, when I pray, I am reassured that it is well in Jesus name.
Interviewer: Introvert or extrovert?
Me: Extrovert, I love being around people, mostly being helpful, engaging and learning new things.
Interviewer: Please offer a word of encouragement to your readers.
Me: God is good! When you have this embedded in your heart, you will never hesitate to turn to God at all times. Knowing has been extremely refreshing, especially just sometimes looking at all the things that are happening to humanity. I still hold on to faith and pray because I know that God is good.
